- Merry Christmas June.. Christmas was very important before WW2. It is supposed to uplift your spirit even you had nothing by spending time with your loveones celebrating with your kids. After WW2, Christmas became slowly over commercialized so a traditional Christian tradition involving your kids turned into a cash grab by corporations to sell you toys and gifts for your loveones and friends. So in terms of Holidays, Halloween is much more fun because it had a party atmosphere. Christmas is supposed to be the year where Christians reflect on their lives taking into account the birth of Jesus to save mankind. The exact month of the birth of Jesus is unknown. I maybe wrong but I remember December was tied to a Pagan Ritual celebrated at the end of the year.. When it comes to Religion and Business, nothing is sacred.

- Merry Christmas June! I hope you had a great holiday. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be at home for christmas. I had to travel about four hours away from my home to Duke University for surgery on Christmas Eve. And I didn't return home until late on Christmas night.I did decide to take a small Christmas tree with me and a string of colored lights to drape on it for my hotel room. And I really love the Duke University Medical complex and its adjacent hotel. I've been struggling with a disorder that's caused me chronic pain my entire life, and being at Duke University was the first time I ever had proper treatment for it. So you've got to take your silver linings where you can get em. Take care June. And have a happy New Year!
